Deleting your HabenWir account

You can delete your account yourself at any time.

In the app

Open Profile › Settings › Sign-in details.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deleting is not possible while a loan is running or promised — another person depends on it then. Finish or cancel it first.

Without the app

Write from the e-mail address you sign in with to support@avenzasoft.com with the subject "Delete account". If you sign in with a phone number, give it in the e-mail; before deleting, we check with you that the number is yours (for example by SMS to that number). We do this within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

at once: e-mail address, phone number, name, profile photo, bio, neighbourhood and home location, and a business's provider details;
your listings leave the app; their photos, exact pickup addresses, phone numbers and links are deleted;
open requests are withdrawn or declined;
saved listings, notifications, settings and push registrations; all sessions end.

What stays

Past loans, messages and ratings stay for the other people in them so their history still makes sense — but without your name, as "Deleted account". Web server logs are deleted after 14 days. If you later sign in again with the same address or number, a new, empty account is created.

Deleting only some data

Delete listings and their photos under "Edit" on the listing, your profile photo and details under "Edit profile", and your search history under Settings › Privacy & safety.
